Would u say thats normal For it to have that burn look to it. Its only a bit not much

If its been run rich i would say its possible.

A compression check would clear up any doubts to carbon or bad rings...its possible a small leak around the bearing seal...its hard to fix over the internet..lol

You can pick up a cheap compression guage on ebay or even walmart...its a good tool to have.

Do you have any gas around the intake manifold where it bolts to the cylinder or where the carburetor mounts to the intake manifold?

Same question for where the exhaust bolts up?

You said nothing around the head so well eliminate a possible head gasket or cylinder gasket.

when rings are new, they have a black coating on them - when engine is run in and the rings have seated, you can look thru exhaust port and see they are then shiny steel

I still think you should try a 41T or 44T rear sprocket.

I had a 44t on it and topped off at 24-25mph and loads of torque. Now i have a 36t and for some reason it wont go faster than 26mph

I only weigh 130 lol so im very sure i can do at least 30mph
