I got over 3000 miles on my bike and I never had to readjust the clutch while using them.
I also pull around a 25 pound cart with... gas - tools - spare parts
So I took the clutch plate off. And it looks kinda s**tty. And there a little bit of grease on the pads. No wonder why it feels like the pressure plate isn’t holding. And the bottom of the plate felt greasy as well. So I tried to clean up most of the grease and I scuffed the pressure plate to help with the grabbing. So I’ll try it later and see how it goes.
Try one of these Cnc billet plates from RDM, look up his site along with Smolik Performance and ARROW.
RDM's plate matched with his heavy duty spring and pads will give you a evil combo. I recently installed all that into my ride running a 32t at the rear of my Schwinn chopper n she doesn't slip at all. BTW, I'm only running 5 pads n not 15.... Beautiful.
