Clutch won't let peddle free

Okay so my spark plug needed to be re gapped cuz it was basically touching. I got one spark then nothing

that's great news! fixable

looks fine to me, one spark and then nothing I would check under the magnet cover

What am I checking for ?

Make sure the wires are connected to the magnet coil, and that the magnet is connected.

be sure you are turning motor fast enough to make a spark

Yeah I just put a new spark plug in and went down a decent incline and then released the clutch while holding the spark plug to the head and I got nothing, the wires to the magneto are connected and this motor has never been started ..... idk what is wrong

disconnect your kill switch and look for spark again.
i went through two spark plugs and a coil and magnet and a cdi before i found out my problem was the kill switch, and i got a spark but it was so weak that i cried!
let us know what happens when you disconnect your kill switch.

maybe take the coil armature off and sand the back side with some fine grit sandpaper the re assemble?
has to be something simple i'd think

what is your spark plug gapped at?
