Combustion chamber conditions and piston spark plug carbon build up.

So now I got a good sealed engine. My next question would be this pipe I got from mz Miami motor bike. (I don't think they make them anymore) anyways. I have a welder. How do I weld this together properly with tube lengths and such. I'm trying to clean up the dead spot in transition from mid range 5-6k to top end 7-9k. I've seen the dyno results on them.
