Electric hybrid bike

Hi all,
I am looking for suggestions to buy a new bike. I currently use a Cannondale quick carbon 1. I have been planning to replace this for a few months now. I ride my bike every day to work. Also sometimes I take it to mountain trails on vacations. So a hybrid bike is a must for me.
While I was looking for a new bike. I saw some electric bikes from Cannondale too. So now I have a thought. Why not buy an electric bike. They could be a huge help when I am too tired to ride to work. I know bike lovers will say it is cheating but I don't really care. So I am looking for an electric hybrid bike. Suggestions on a budget will be highly appreciated.

Ahhhh! I see what you mean now...
"Hybrid" in the bicycle sales jargon.
Urban mountain bike.
Flat bar roadable but not a roadie.
A tall MTB with a set of slick 1.6" tyres.

I like the sound of the shifting mid drive kit/ modular stuff from Sick Bike Parts. You can use basically any bike you like with that.

No idea what a "budget" is though but I feel thirsty now. Bud.. Get..
