Most People Seem to Run Chinese Style Engines.....

iusta have a 4stroke like a tiller motor had to change the frame a lot
check out my pics i have the3 nomral 2 stroke but i liked my 4 better

I used a mid frame 4.2 hp GP460 for power. It kept breaking clutch springs, so I replaced it with a dependable 2.8 hp Tanaka 47R engine. Performance is similar to the 460.

BOTH engines spit a LOT of oil. My next build will be a rack-mounted 460 engine. For dependability, I'll use TWO of them.

I've got my own personal oil spot at the bike rack at work...

Like British cars, they don't leak oil, they mark their territory...

even at 50:1 fuel/ratio, the Tanaka spits a lot. I get to wipe down my muffler, rim, spokes, rear disc rotoretc. after every ride.

Hate it when oil gets on my work clothes.

In the Marine Corps, if a helicopter wasn't leaking something, the fluids were probably empty.
