I use a led car light with a9.4 r/c battery rechargeable and last a vary long time. bright too.

Thats a very nice setup you got there bill. Once I get the front forks I want (double crown/triple tree with suspension)I'm gonna be looking into getting a solid headlight like that.

i have a rechargeable house alarm 12volt battery and have a 48wat 16 leed cree 4x4 spot light on mine the battery wll run it for 2 hours and its like daylight 46000 lumens you dont want to be doing any speed if you cant see where you are going

46000 lumens i wont tel you how much i won it at auction for but they can be had off ebay reasonably 30 uk pounds not sure in dollars a house 12 volt alarm battery will run it for nearly 2 hours then just recharge it
