Old member who hasn’t been here for a while

Hi folks. After a few years doing other things I decided to build a new bike. It’s been a long drawn out process because I want it to look really cool.
I hate peanut tanks, the standard stem looks weird and the rake of most bikes look odd to me. Now I should just appreciate them for what they are but I have a habit of not letting well enough alone.

It started with this frame in the 1st attachment. An old amf frame that I got for 10 bucks
I can’t remember what I paid for the bike in the second attachment but it was cheap. The guy was almost not going to sell it to me when he heard I was going to part it out, but he looked like a guy who needed cash.
I used the fork first and the wheels are 24 inch.
As I said, I don’t like peanut tanks so I got a big tank for 35 bucks from ebay

I’ve been curious about that pipe you have. I’d like one but I’m afraid it would burn my leg

If you look at amazon you can get a 50cc jog scooter pipe which is the best for these 2 strokes . There a downside to it you have to fit to your bike . Those things include welding a bracket to mount it on engine. Then straighten the pipe to fit where you don’t interfere with pedals leg and so on . This pipe will help more then any other mod out there

That was the idea. The bike in my profile picture was my first one and I learned a few things. First, I hate the peanut tank. Second , the bike stem looks weird and 3rd the rake of the bike was all wrong. I brazed the back end of another bike to fix the rake, I put a triple tree from a kids mountain bike on the base frame and rigged up the bars in order to bypass the stem. I have no idea if everything will work properly but it’s been a fun build

Well, it’s not ideal but every problem I had to face was there because of my 24x3 tires
I has some wheels with 24x 1.95 so I tried those. It’s not what I want but at least I can get it on the road
