It was a simple fix, that anybody could have fixed. All you had to do was buy the proper bushing. The needle-bearing bushing always will be the proper bushing for this style of engine. Whoever made the decision to put that brass noncompatible bushing with this engine made the wrong decision. It was up to you, the consumer to buy the right bushing. And I knew that people who were new to motorized bicycles and no idea that that brass bushing was not the right bushing. Me being experienced in a motorized bicycle I know that the needle bearing bushing is the only bushing that is compatible with this style of engine.

And the newest generation motor now has it so new buyers should not have to face this older issue with the newest P-85s.
