Warped rear wheel

did you replace the spokes with new ones or did you use the same ones ?????

I started out with 26 x 2.125 HD double wall 36 hole alloy wheels with 11 gage stainless steel spokes and a 1.5 in. rear hub. With a 4 cross spoke pattern and 1.5 in. diameter hub the adaptor easily slips into place. Don't tighten it down until you have installed the aluminum rear drive sprocket and correctly lined it up with the engine drive sprocket. I had to shim the rear sprocket to line it up correctly. Don't forget to use Loctite on all screws and nuts.

You will also need to up grade to a 415 drive chain and possibly a 415 engine drive sprocket as well. When you put it all together the chain may very well interfere with the front of the cover. If it does than simply notch out the front of the cover for enough clearance for the chain to spin freely around the drive sprocket. When you put it back together the clearance notch will not be seen.

If you need to shim out the drive sprocket the sides of the chain may grind against the inside of the cover . You will need to grind out some clearance there. Be careful not to grind through the cover into the clutch lever shaft.

Every time you change something or add something you usually have to change something or add something else to make it all work properly together... Take your time and do it right. Hope this helps. Lets see some pics...
