what mods work best?

ok so here is what I think I am going to do... (using a 26" bike)

1-change the head.
2-put in a new head gasket+spark plug.
3-put on a tuned pipe.
4-match the intakes.
5-dual pull brake lever.
6-get a 32-38t sprocket.
7-port the engine.

I will add more along with a build thread with my updates later when I get all the parts.

If you find a sponsor would you be kind enough to give them my name as well. I've never tried a smaller sprocket but from what I gather what you gain in top speed you lose in low end. The one area my bike lacks is low rpm torque coming out of a turn. Going near 40 on a bicycle is fast enough for me but I like to brake hard going into a turn and power my way out. An expansion chamber my make the difference. Keep us posted.

The expansion chamber is the 1st upgrade i would go for.
And then a high compression head.

major falure today. I was riding and my chain broke one link behind the master link. my rear wheel locked up and now my rim spokes and tire are f*ck*d! any oce have an extra rear rim for a 26" moutan bike 18 speed?

Man get some 415 HD chain.
And get rid of the rag joint.
And the tensioner.

My local bike shop sells some nice Disk Hub Mount Rear wheels for $40.00.

That's what i use.

I have bought $150.00 rims and they don't last much longer.
