Continental has a range of ebike rated reinforced tires that are my favorite to run. They are constructed similar to a light motorcycle tire more than a typical bicycle tire. I've held 40mph for a consistent run several times without issue. (I am not a light dude)

They aren't cheap, obviously, but not outrageous either, usually in the 45 to 55 dollar each range.
 
Here is the other tire I trust at over 50mph. They are usually $50 thou.

That is the exact tire I am currently using. Love it!

The reflective white-wall is a nice safety feature.
Yep that is 1 reason I bought it. The other is the flat protection. They grip extremely well too. They are a racey tire, they roll real nice & smooth.

They came down in price I see. I gave $65 each when they 1st came out.

Lmao it is the only tire I have found, that if you put it on a cheap set of wheels & air them up to max pressure.

The spokes will start creaking & pinging they put such a clinch on the rim.
