the choke is staying open and when i move the throttle the barrel moves up.

That is a 66cc Skyhawk engine, it is not designed wrong ;-}

Take your air filter off and verify the choke is staying open and when you move the throttle the barrel comes up and you see the needle.

looks like the piston is backwards...arrow should point torward the exhaust..

NO - do not change the piston - there are several diff markings on these things

all that is important is that the locating pins for the rings are on the intake side - if it were backwards, it would have jammed a ring in the exhaust port first time up&down

try opening the drain plug of the carb & see if fuel runs out when you turn on the petcock

I have a question. Whenever I pour gasoline into the spark plug hole it just come out o the exhaust manifold.

that depends on where the piston happens to be at the time you pour - I never do that, but if you do, then just a few drops is enough

I found that their is a bit of a small gap from the top of the engine where the spark plug is to the cylinder I hear air escaping could that be my problem?

yeah, you've got no compression. are your head bolts tight?

Yes they are I put two gaskets on top though i'll try starting the bike now
