I started a build of a bike using the frames that i fractured this summer. I am merging the CCM Villager and CCM Pursuit. The villager had a fracture in the front down tube and the pursuit had it in the rear stays. I am going to keep both bottom brackets on the bike and use one as a shift kit.

I looked at the pic. Great idea BUT you need to re-inforce that bottom section because your triangle frame shape is now gone and the bottom will fold upward if you leave it as it.
One tube (could be square) going horisontal across that cut- off tube joining front down tube to seat post would do it if it were gussetted down a ways.
