I know it's a year later , but if it ran fine a day before it's probably a weak magneto , or the float is out of adjustment , so it's just flooding out on you. If you never changed the stock jet drop it down to a 64 , I've had great luck with 64 on a few stock motors. Play with the carb needle too start with the clip on the second notch from the top , and work your way down until your plug is showing a tan color.
