I went down hill on a pedal bike once. GPS said 55mph. That was squirrely
Forget the tail wind, it needs a Cat 5 hurricane to push it downhill for those higher speeds on that budget...lol.

If I were you, I would put a stop payment on that crank immediately if not sooner and chalk this one up to gaining some experience here.

BTW the truck has a faulty speed sensor, actual speeds are not true
Notice the Tach rpm jumping all around and the check engine light and other warning lights are on
Classic signs that the speed sensor in the transmission is faulty.

Realistically speaking you need around 30 horse power and some aerodynamic savings to go 80mph. The crf300l and the cbr300r have the same engine and transmission but the sport bike tops out at a higher speed.
