Im looking to go 80 mph and I got 100 dollars to work with

We also get a lot of bogus speed claims so I just read it as 'felt like' the mph. Saw some joker on a different forum trying to claim his completely stock china doll was doing 40mph with a 32 tooth sprocket. That's just not happening and I didn't feel the need to explain why a 2 horse engine will never do that. Gosh darn, learn when to fold em, folks.
Actually, that is more than doable with a Zeda 80 motor...lol...Just saying.
Maybe you could find this thread and post the link. I'm curious what kit this person bought

I just bought a $90 amazon kit and threw it on a 70's schwinn lol it was super easy.
And this is just one of the differences between the 90 dollar Amazon special versus the Zeda 80 motor.

Firestorm Zeda80 2.95 HP 2 stroke Engine (Actual U.S. displacement 69.4cc)

You know your not getting that from a 90 dollar kit...lol.

Even if it barely scratched 2 ponies it would be worth it just for the quality control zeda has. These kits never have good QA, but zeda has some of the best. As far as I know the only way to get better QA is to reassemble a kit yourself

This is one of the reasons why the problems with the original Phantom 85s got worked out and made them as good as they are right now...They are made by the same manufacturer as the Zeda's.

ZTMoto, (Zeda Technology Co., LTD), Phantom 85

Quality and power is what sells the phantom 85.
