Hey guys. Quick question. I've been running my 2 stroke bike on Halfords semi synthetic motorcycle and scooter oil. It works great so far but how will my bike do in the long run? Is this oil ok? I'm running it 20:1

Don't know.
But been through many motors and I don't run mine at 20.1 cuz I get oil oozing out and I don't run mine at 32.1 like everyone suggest in the forum so I now run mine 25.1 right in the center of liar and suggested by some bike companies 20.1 long haul to me one year it should be 30 years but for hundred bucks it's just 1 tank of gas to a car so I'll replace if it poops out and still have a good deal on my transportation needs

Honestly you could go 32:1 with no problems

I use the cheapest oil I can come across (usally its Wal-Mart's 1 gallon 2 stoke marine oil, at 12$ its a great value!) As 20:1 you risk fouling plugs pretty bad.

I don't know man. I mean it runs perfect on 20:1. I've Had it for about 500km no issues. Like I don't see the benefit in changing my ratio to 32:1. If my spark plug goes I'll replace it and change my mix. I can't think of any long term issues that can arise from too much oil.

Newb here lol... I run 50:1. Runs fine for my old 49cc with over 7k miles on it before upgrading to a 80cc now with less than a 100 miles... Leakage around tailpipe leads me to believe I really need take this sawed off stock pipe and put the expansion muffler back on engine. Gonna put a wider crank in today.
