Porting 49mm iron bore

This is amazing what people do. I ported two stroke racing kart engines for many years. How anyone would
go in & just start grinding ports, not knowing anything about port timing or exsaust port width amazes me.
I know it is done all the time. I can see someone cleaning up casting eregualarites, but to just start grinding
is be on me.

Agreed I am crazy and I do have some knowledge how port time and exhuast width will change it but I also don’t have a timing wheel and this was more of a practice run more then anything but lol I still haven’t even had a chance to throw this motor together yet and run it

Best lessons learned are the hard ones. Been there done that. It's not like it's a $200-$300 polini or stage 6 cylinder kit.

I think I wanna work on this cylinder and truely see what I can get out of it since the ports are so sloppy but in a way that makes it easy to shape how I want them
