I was thinking a 10mm steel tube as a mock up piston pin...drill a hole in the center and tack on an old drill bit....that's bout the best I can come up with.

Then how are you going to get it in and out?

Oh...if you mean the mock up pin?...I'm not...it will be permanent.

I should be able to use that piston for quite some time.....that's why I got a worn used piston,rings and cylinder.

? how are you going to get the tube in the piston after you tack the drill bit to it? or do you think it can be tacked in place?

The tube is going in first....once I tack in the bit it's in permanently...lol

OIC what your saying just dont see how you are going to get the head of welder in there to do that.
