Sick Bike Parts dual range jackshaft gearing system

If you really want to step up the torque/pulling power, there exists a novel option of jail breaking a 9 speed 29'er cassette, as well as the cassette on your bike, then substituting the 29'er 36 tooth sprocket in place of the largest sprocket fitted to your rear cassette.

It makes a noticeable difference to maximum pulling power and low speed crawling ability.

This is a video of my dual range set up in action. The video shows the pulling power of low range gearing with the SBP shift kit. While still a work in progress my bike pulls very well in low range and is a blast to ride.
