Axel sheared off on a mag rim.
Now how to get the broken axel bolt out do I best it with a hammer?
There is only 1 but on the other side too deep for any of my sockets, bike shops say they don't know and if it's frozen on back and forth then there's something wrong for it not to slide out however the bushing turns freely.

I dont own any mag rims, but I've done a little reading on them, if you tap on broken part of axle with a punch, then it should start knocking out the opposite side bearing. Make sure you remove disc brake or whatever is on opposite side of broken axle. Can you get me pic of other side I might be able to tell.

The axle is made so the inner races of the bearings are supported by the axle
Yes, the bearings holds the axle in. Ya gotta punch out one bearing by tapping on the axle end usually using a block of wood so ya don't ruin the axle. But in inspectors case the axle is already ruined so it don't matter.

I don't have a vice but got a spare rim and plenty of space rag joints I can use until getting another axel I was thinking of making a chain or strap using a lever to turn the gear hub off to use it n the other rim.
Any you backyard mechanics have any methods that will work?

Ask that bike shop if they will let you borrow their tool while you take it off at their shop and put it on the other wheel
They should, or maybe the'll do it.

When they shell out or wont come off, I get the dremel out and a tiny cut off wheel. Then just delicately cut it off with out hitting the threads. I live a thin skin and then pry gently till it folds up and poof, its off.

mag wheels are poop , get yah some with 12 gauge spokes ....... no worries
Worksman are 11ga... And the hoops are rolled heavy duty... The from drums are moped and worksman is 2 1/2 months wait to build them... Cadillac'n
