There Luxembourg Whizzer, definitely not made by Schwinn.
Tires are going to be hard to find, wheels size are odd.
Very rare bikes 😁

the tire size is 2.50 -19, Im guessing 19 inch x 2 1/2 inch. did a bit of research last night and really didnt see any bikes with 19" rims.

Motor serial number should start with an L for Luxembourg Motors.

Ray
dont remember seeing an L on the case, just the numbers that i put in my original post. maybe not looking in right place. more likely than these motors were going to be installed. maybe the original motors are still in the barn. some farmers dont like to throw anything out. LOL.

these pictures look just like what i have. even the green. looks like 2 seats on the bike in the picture. our bike has slight bow in the backrack. maybe too heavy a person was riding shotgun back in the day.lol

sorry for not responding to peoples comments earlier. just checked my email this morning and responses are going directly to email and not showing in this thread. not sure if i did something with the settings but will try and respond when i can. have been tearing this apart and now are sandblasting the parts. a few people had asked for pics. there is actually 3 cases, one says 263, one says 283 and the other that is mostly together is J244522. could 263 and 283 maybe have been originally for the bike and the J motor been purchased later. dont know. for pic 263 you can see how it was attempted to repair.lol. first tire pic put air in yesterday and still holding, second pic not so lucky. lol. boys bike tires shot and they are also 19 inch.

got in touch with a buddy who was a bike mechanic for 20 years and is calling his contacts that he knew but everything is pretty well shut down here in the province of ontario due to the virus. hope he comes through. no one going anywhere for the most part

after taking forks apart found out my forks were bent compared to my boys that he had already sandblasted. put them in my homemade press and voila good as new. as a side note that most of you guys already know when taking apart the forks ball bearings have a tendency to roll and roll. spent some time gathering them all up. lol

Back when that engine was attempted to be fixed, I guess they never heard of JB weld, or it wasn't invented yet. I fixed a racing cart motor with JB after a crash that cracked the case, I haven't seen that one for years, so it might still be on the road.

Good bikes usually have those ball bearings in a cassette so you don't have to go chasing after them, LOL!

Cool project 👍. Not sure but a 17" moped tire might fit. Mopeds and motorcycles measure the rim of the tire bead and bicycles go by outside diameter on the tire. If your wheels measure 19" on the inside rim then you should be able to find some motorcycle tires. Shinko is a less expensive brand of moped tire. Here is a link to explain what I mean. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55458
