Bike Wont accelerate

Maybe your float isn't seating properly. Just a bit of dirt can cause it to stick open

So Usually there is a little circular piece of plastic that juts out into a hole in my handle bars. It snapped off and now the throttle moves freely so I cant actually pull the cable, the whole throttle rotates on the handle bar not just the part that's supposed to but kill switch and all.

I had that happen to me once a few years back...I just placed a washer in there so the cable went through it and where the plastic broke and end of problem...Worked better than ever as a throttle stop.

That worked, good idea, but now I got gas coming out of my air filter and exhaust.

yeah that's what i'm thinking too I'm going to adjust the pin a bit

GOOD NEWS! I just swapped out to the old carb cuz the new one wasn't sitting right on the air/fuel intake and now she runs like a dream. Just need to add some finishing touches to make her look pretty but as of right now shes functional and I don't even need to pedal up hill which i was very worried about. Thanks for all your help guys!

1st thing I think of when it won't accelerate is fuel flow issue, restriction. Not that is the issue here just my 1st thought.

Or a stuck float, or a float with a pin hole leak allowing gas to fill up in it and keep the float in the downward postion...I have had both happen to me a few years ago.
