HAHA no worries Vegaspaddy ;-) And yeah the batteries get quite the caining pulling 120amps from SLAs sees them
drained raaaather quickly but **** its fun hehehe...If i took it slowly i would get 20km range not a problem, but the
urge to screw the throttle and stretch the arms as you fly quickly along in total silence is just toooo **** tempting
ooooh for a niiiice stack of Lipos piled into the battery box hehehe next trike will have them...I have 4 new 12v 18ah
SLAs to go into what i am now making--->
Update
Full custom plywood & aluminum battery box got underway today unfortunately i didn't get it completed as
i wished, had a few mates drop by throughout the day "interupting me" LoL ...anywayz, i have a few
pics of the progress thus far, pretty self explanatory i think-->

As can be seen fair whack of the work is done, all panels cut and the bottom aluminum angle in place,
the bottom of the battery box has also been mounted on the jarrah wooden 'mounts'.
I was looking at it after i set it in the trike for the final pic and got thinking it probably wouldnt
look too bad with a nice wood stain and varnish on it, i had planned to paint the plywood
"Gangsta Black" and scotch bright the ali (probably still will TBH) but i can see how neat
the wood could look....anyhoot...more around this time tomorrow, i would bloody well hope
it will be running this time tomorrow too :: sigh ::
