I'm about to use the horseshoe from a crappy front fork clamped to the rear seat stay to use cantilever brakes on the rear, they have the studs to use em. I have the cranbrook and my long reach brakes in the rear flex when I hit the brakes. I never use them because of that, only there for racing (need 2 brakes to race). I only trust them as much as loaning money to a tweaker.
