Fuel Mixture What oil ratio does your 2 stroke run and what kinda oil do you use?

I use Lucas semi synthetic at 40/1, I also use omc marine ethanol fuel treatment in all of my small engines two stroke or four stroke.

Penzoil Marine 2-stroke, 32:1 in the MB. Same oil (for years) in 50:1 in my moped. I can't remember what the oil was that I used to run other than the bottle was black, but my Moped ran just fine on it but would foul the plug every 250 miles at the same 50:1 ratio. No such problem w/ the penzoil, which is why I've stuck with it. Not to mention its easy to find.

Some may say that 100:1 is good for your engine; passionately bleating their hearts out in support of their cause - others may say 20:1 is good for your engine; passionately bleating their hearts out in support of their cause but one thing is for sure, only you know the requirements asked of your engine and the conditions it will be asked to operate under.

That will determine the correct oil/fuel ratio.

This type of thread has been worked to death many a time over.
