Too big. Go with a VM18 for bolt-on builds and an OKO 21mm for more aggressive setups with port work.

a GY6 is like 150cc can use a 24mm carby.. gotta go smaller. for comparison, I got a VM18 Mikuni and put it on my mild 48cc but it wouldn't run any good unless wound out then it was ok @5000rpm even trying a few different jets. so I went back to my modified to 16mm SHA

Usually smaller carbs run better on the low end mid end the benefit for big carbs are for high air flow applications during extremely high rpm

I havent fired my new creation up yet damn work and weather got me busy but i put this 24mm Nibbi Racing carb on cause it just fits better and fuel line dosent want to squeeze onto the oko's top its bulkier than the nibbi even tho its smaller plus its got a washable k&n style filter only got a velocity stack for the two of my okos

i would go 20 or 22mm.
that would help out the bottem end.
but since you have a 24mm on hand, go big or go home lol

On a reed setup that's been modified a 24mm will work well,or even a highly modded piston port if the port area's are in that range.Just remember that with bigger carbs and jetting you'll need to adress fuel supply issues, the stock petcock's don't flow fast enough to keep the carb's bowl from being depleted.

That's how you know your making power!
