Yes it was and it was cold, lots of snow, enough for sledding (the powered kind!).

Actually, at -30 celsius and fahrenheit are the same.

It went up to +10c and rained today. If you don't like the weather in Nova Scotia, just wait a couple days.

You are right and I am so embarrassed at my error...

32 deg F is the same as 0 deg C. Both are the freezing points of H2O at sea level, 14.7 psi ambient pressure.

That's the physical parity, but it reaches the physical as well as the numerical parity at -40. I wonder where the parities would lie if 0 deg. C were judged by the freezing points of nitrogen or mercury. I bet it would make thermometers hell to read.
