    I don't know if this was a joke, but I was thinking of an olive/forest-y green color before I even read Furry's post. I think it would be nice in a "burnt" orange or rust color, too. Both of those would go good with grey accents.

    I really find posts like this annoying, to darn lazy to even processes their cell phone pics to be displayable with UP being UP? Like I can tilt my frigg'n 26" monitor just to see it? Or I'd even want want to?

    You don't want that frame left bare.
    At least here you can get it powder coated for $100 any color and texture you want, and their are thousands of options.
    You picked black, so what's the question again?

    Olive drab makes a reference to the military messenger/signaller bikes of WW2. The sudden rise in popularity of motorcycles in the UK post-war being due to the army surplus bikes sold cheap, though these were stripped down to lighten them and repainted (usually in black) and "raced" from cafe to cafe on the no-speed-limit motorways.

    I will probably be painting my old LTS in olive drab though mainly for practical, stealth camping, reasons. :)

    I polished mine. Takes a little more elbow grease than paint though.

    Just trying to follow your train of thought and the language barrier bud ;-}

    Are you familiar with Powder Coating, the baked on 'paint'?
    It whats they coat anything that is always outside.

    And do you have anyone local that does it for a reasonable price?
    I pay a flat $100 for my local shop to do a GT2 frame in any color and texture I want, and there are a hundreds of choices....

    It really is the only way to properly coat an aluminum bike frame you give a sh*t about.
    If you don't, well, rattle can away.

    As for a frame color, I suggest go bright not camouflage, the LAST thing you want on a motorized bike is to 'HIDE' your presence on the road!
