The scooterguy offers freewheel crank and drive system SPECIAL

my basic rule around here is if it works its not broken , don;t ever take anything apart that's in good shape and working , makes no sense.

if i can see anything that's a clear enhancement over something i've already done, i'm going to go for it.

better is better, no matter how you look at it.

you now have pedals and freewheels don't you ? :giggle:

Thank you also. I hope they work for you & keep us posted for the installation. PICS!!!!!

as for gas tanks I sent detonator a PM with a link to a motorcross auxilliary tank I am not particularily fond of that particular one but there have been variances in styles over the years. here is just what I found doing a quick search. http://parts.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/911-front-auxiliary-tank-acerbis.html

I think your getting idea of what I was asking about in my PM.

Later,

OK i got a few sets of threaded pedals from sick bike parts , now you wont have to place two orders to get this freewheel crank system . so with the threaded pedals delivered its $105.00

i love this build . worked on it all day , its one in the morning . time to sleep . tomorrow the pipe gets fitted, then Monday a few parts to finish it off , blue grips a chrome tank cover , here is a before and almost after , she's coming together nicely, only a few cuts and scrapes ,and one bloody finger . the fenders gave me trouble but i got it , and i had to lengthen the cables for the wrap around handle bars .

today's progress was a tuned pipe and and upgraded carb , wanted to go with a diaphragm carb but just wont go , i had a 15 mm hp harb with a v stack a hp chrome filter laying around had to putt that on it . my welder went south today so pipe needs more work , but the guy at meineke owes me a favor , hope he works on Sunday , getting closer to a test ride , i have to get the correct fuel lines and shore up the tank . and make a bracket to brace the pipe , the only hole i drilled in this bike was on the handle bars for the throttle grip ,
i know this thread was about freewheel crank system , and this bike features that , i'm just going with the flow . and sharing this build with you guys. i'm having fun .

Progress, looks good.
So, how you liking the clamp mounts so far? :D
Curious what engine that is because it looks to be far improved exhaust routing down and under from the rider's legs.
A overhead shot would be great to see what kind of clearance this setup offers in relation to the pedals.

i will get one for you , i like the top three piece Harley clamps i used , i may upgrade the bottom clamp , that size is harder to find , the pipe i fitted a routed myself , i thought it looked good . the pedals go round . the motor is a 47cc cag found on pocket bikes , the pipe did not come with it , i had to cut and weld it to fit it correctly
